Inspringtheater en de Purple Group hebben een 4-delig programma samengesteld waarin we door middel van Theater van de Onderdrukten (TvO) moeilijke gesprekken met elkaar aangaan. We zullen vooral focussen op het moeilijke moment waarop iemand die dicht bij je staat zich misdraagt (denk bijvoorbeeld aan (seksueel) grensoverschrijdend gedrag of (verbale) agressie). Hoe ga je om met zo'n situatie en hoe spreek je je daarover uit?
Met TvO gebruiken we theater als een interactieve en praktische manier om situaties uit het echte leven te begrijpen en te oefenen. Het gaat hierbij niet om goed acteren, maar om het experimenteren met ons gedrag, in verschillende rollen stappen en samen onderzoeken op welke manieren we op situaties kunnen ingrijpen en elkaar kunnen ondersteunen.
4 donderdagavonden: 2 april, 16 april, 30 april en 14 mei, 19.00-21.30 (aanwezigheid bij alle sessies is vereist)
Alleen voor mensen die in Droevendaal wonen, alle genders, Engels gesproken, op basis van donaties

Let op: Deze eerste reeks is enkel open voor bewoners van de studentenhuizen in Droevendaal in Wageningen. Als het een succes blijkt dan komt er wellicht een vervolg. Als je niet in Droevendaal woont, maar wel geïnteresseerd bent of als je een soortgelijke serie wil voor jouw organisatie of gemeenschap, dan horen we graag van je! Inspringsessie
Inspringsessies zijn maandelijkse, laagdrempelige gelegenheden om Inspringtheater te leren kennen en om kennis te maken met de technieken van het "theater van de onderdrukten". Maar het is ook een fijne manier om wat te ontspannen en eventjes actief te worden tijdens je lunchpauze of aan het einde van je dag.
De sessies zijn om en om overdag of ‘s avonds. De sessies overdag zijn op de campus van de Wageningen Universiteit, in het Amfitheater, een buitenruimte tussen de gebouwen Impulse en Aurora. De sessies ’s avonds zijn in het gebouw met de klok, op de Generaal Foulkesweg 37.

Evening jump in session
The jump in sessions are a low key opportunity to get to know the Inspringtheater community, to get a bit familiar with the techniques of Theater of the Oppressed and also to release some stress and have a proper energizing break in the middle or at the end of your day. The jump in sessions are alternating during daytime or in the evening. The sessions during daytime take place on the Wageningen University Campus in the Amfitheater, an outside space between the buildings Aurora and Impulse. The sessions in the evening are in the clockhouse building at the Generaal Foulkesweg 37. Next Jump in sessions: Wednesday April 22th from 21.00 to 22.00 in the Clokckhouse, Old Library. Monday May 11th from 12.30 to 13.30 in the Amfitheater, Wageningen Campus
Speak up to your mates! - Part 3
Inspringtheater and Purple Group are putting together a 4-session program where we’ll use the Theatre of the Oppressed to explore and navigate difficult conversations. We’ll focus especially on those tricky moments when someone close to you is behaving in an unacceptable way (for example around sexual harassment or abuse) and how to actually speak up in those situations. We’ll be working with the methodology of the Theatre of the Oppressed, which uses theatre as a really practical and interactive tool to understand real-life situations. Inspringtheater at Reclaim the Seeds Utrecht
Reclaim the seeds is an event that is being organised in different places around the Netherlands all in the theme of seeds. There main part is a seed market to exchange all kinds of seeds. Furthermore, there are discussions, workshops and lectures, all about themes related to seeds. At Reclaim the Seeds Nijmegen, Reclaim the Seeds Wageningen and Reclaim the Seeds Utrecht, Inspringtheater will be present to host a workshop. Using techniques of Theatre of the Oppressed, we'll look into the systematic injustices regarding the international seed market, the distribution of seeds and the possibility of farmers to work with their own seeds.
